Crosby reveals his reason why he missed the solar eclipse

Sidney Crosby's dedication to his game is something else. When reporter Josh Yohe asked him if he'd be catching the solar eclipse in Toronto Monday afternoon, you'd think he'd say, yes. Not Crosby though. Instead, he casually dropped the bombshell that he'll be skipping for one reason – his pregame nap.

While the rest of us were looking up at this rare cosmic event, Crosby was in bed, making sure he was in top form for the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. It's that kind of dedication that separates the greats from the rest of us, mere mortals.


So, although we were oohing and aahing at the eclipse, Crosby was doing what he does best – gearing up to eclipse the competition on the ice. And hey, if that's not dedication, I don't know what is!
