Penguins forward Michael Bunting impresses for Team Canada

The Pittsburgh Penguins got several pieces in return for Jake Guentzel at the trade deadline. This week one of those pieces in Michael Bunting has shown his worth during the IIHF World Championship tournament.

The Pittsburgh Penguins season came to a disappointing end when they failed to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Despite this disappointment the Penguins still have plenty of things that provide hope for the future.

This includes the impressive play of forward Michael Bunting who is representing Canada in Czechia during the IIHF World Championships. In his first game with Canada Michael Bunting tallied 2 points and was a plus 3.





He's playing on a line with Nick Paul (TBL) and Connor Bedard (CHI). Their line dominated Britain.

So stocked to have Bunting for a full season in Pittsburgh.
