The 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are underway and NHL veteran referee Kelly Sutherland has been accused of fixing games.

Every call counts regardless of whether it is game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals or game one of the regular season. It is imperative that any referee with bias toward a certain team be eliminated, but unfortunately for Canadian hockey fans, that isn't the case.

Sutherland is notorious for being a Canucks hater, and it might be filtering into his on-ice conduct.

With Leon Draisaitl hurt and Connor McDavid unable to find his game against Vancouver, Canucks fans hoped this would be the edge they needed in a series, but the deployment of Kelly Sutherland reeks of bias.

Additionally, the Oilers have their own issues with Steve Kozari refereeing their games. Kozari is a noted Oilers despiser and has made his bias known. It's a two-way street, honestly.

In the replies were fans arguing over the evidence, but one fan emerged among them all that the Oilers and Kozari aren't awful and the Canucks and Sutherland are a bit worse.

Since the Vancouver Canucks turned into Lady Byng candidates after one minute expired in the game on against Edmonton, should this be enough to prove the bias against or for Edmonton?
