Sidney Crosby has been a star in the NHL for a long time, and with his contract coming up soon, he's revealed his plans going forward.

After two decades with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sidney Crosby's contract is officially up after the 2024-25 campaign, but he's not shying away from talking about it. When asked whether he will breach the topic this summer with Kyle Dubas, Crosby had this to say;

"Obviously, I'm going to talk to [general manager Kyle Dubas] and have a conversation with him," Crosby said. "We'll see. I think it's just something that I'll have conversations with him about."

At 36-years of age, Crosby had yet another incredible campaign this past season, but for the second straight season, they fell short of the playoffs despite an incredible push. Unsurprisingly, he's disappointed with that team success, but given his connections to Pittsburgh, it appears he's open to staying with the team going forward.

"It's disappointing, especially with the way we finished the year. We were playing good hockey," Crosby said. "You look, when you miss by a margin that we've had the last couple years, there's so many games that you look at plays and things you want to redo. It's a fine line. Unfortunately, we've been on the wrong side of that the last couple years."

With only a few years left, Dubas has plenty of work to do this summer, but with Crosby showing he's still got plenty left in the tank, there's no reason why he can't lead a better team to the Stanley Cup Playoffs once again.
