After receiving a devastating hit from Winnipeg Jet's Defenseman Brenden Dillon it was good to see Noel Acciari back at practice today for the Penguins.

Noel Acciari Participates in Practice Today and is Cleared for Full Contact

Head Coach Mike Sullivan sang his praises today, talking about Acciari bringing that 'gritty element' to the game.

"I think his status would be day-to-day» and that «he brings a gritty element to our lineup that I think could be contagious for our group»

Sullivan labeled him the 'ultimate warrior' and said he could even be available for the game against Montreal.

The Penguins held their optional skate today with most players hitting the ice with the exception of Reilly Smith and Jeff Carter.

It was noted that Kyle Dubas, Jason Spezza and Doug Wilson were also spotted in the press box during practice as we wait for Dubas to address the media in a press conference today.
