The Pittsburgh Penguins are due for some major changes this offseason. Current general manager and president of hockey operations, Kyle Dubas, is going to make these changes via the trade block and free agency.
Todd Reirden, former associate coach, found himself packing his bags after a season-long power play struggle and an abysmal defensive corps. Reirden's lack of success contributed to his departure.Similar to Reirden, who are some players who will likely pack their bags?
Rickard Rakell tops the list as he has a long-term contract and a bad 2023-24 screams he needs fresh scenery. Rakell battled injuries this season and only managed to score 37 points.

With four more years on his contract, Rakell might not be a Penguin for all four of those years.
Tristan Jarry is another name on the list but is less likely due to goalies being voodoo. While Jarry fell apart later in the season, the Penguins self-destructed regardless of their goaltending struggles.
Jarry would only be shown the door in Pittsburgh if there's a goaltender they acquire or someone who develops to take his spot.
Rielly Smith is the third name and the only former Vegas Golden Knight misfit on the list. Vegas dumped Smith to Pittsburgh for cap-related reasons and it seems even more likely Smith will find a new home as the veteran with another year on his contract.
The third-liner, an expensive one at that, is likely going to find his new home sometime this offseason.
Finally, Ryan Graves had an abysmal season himself for the Penguins. The issue is salary cap and teams not wanting to take long-term money as Graves has another five years at $4.5 million.
Graves needs to find his game before Pittsburgh shows him the door sooner rather than later.
