Bunting Takes the Ice and Addresses Media for the First Time as a Penguin

After being one of the centrepieces of the Jake Guentzel trade, Michael Bunting has arrived in Pittsburgh and has practiced with the team on Friday.

He got some reps on a line with Crosby, and Head Coach Mike Sullivan envisions him playing in the top 6.




Bunting has experience playing with elite players from his time in Toronto, so he could fit in nicely alongside Sid. This time in Toronto (and with the Soo Greyhounds) are likely the reason that Dubas pursued him, and he is clearly drawn to familiarity.







Bunting seemed very pleased to be a Penguin and anxious to get started in the Steel City.
