Penguins Forward Moved to the Injured Reserve List After Last Night's Game

Not too much good came out of the game last night against the Capitals. Guentzel was finally traded with information slowly coming in before and during the game. The Pens were destroyed by the Caps 6-0. And now, a forward goes down on the IR.

Jansen Harkins Gets Into a Brawl with Beck Malenstyn During the Second Period

Last night during the game while the Penguins were down 3-0 with just over half the game left to play, Harkins tried to spark some life in the team and dropped gloves with Beck Malenstyn of the Capitals

The fight was pretty good, both players getting in some good shots on each other, ending with Harkins taking down Malenstyn.

Jansen Harkins was Placed on the Injured Reserve List This Morning

Seems like the fight came at a cost. This morning, we have learned that Harkins, who did not return in the game, was placed on the IR list for the Penguins.

Per the NHL's media Web site, Penguins forward Jansen Harkins is now listed as being on injured reserve.
