He made a major statement, acknowledging that he might not be the most appreciated person in Pittsburgh at the moment.

Kyle Dubas Gets Criticized by Fans For His Work at the Trade Deadline

The Penguins made a few moves at the deadline, but the main one is definitely Jake Guentzel's trade to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Kyle Dubas Addresses Critics in Press Conference After Questionable Trade Deadline Decisions

Kyle Dubas, the General Manager, knows people are upset with him. He mentioned yesterday that being in a competitive environment, it's expected that decisions like these won't make everyone happy.

«Mike's been here a long time, he's like the players,» Dubas said, «and when you make the decision to remove someone from the group that's hugely popular and contributes in such a great way, nobody's happy about it.

«And I wouldn't want it any other way. I wouldn't want anybody to be happy about those things. That's part of this job, and it's part of their job to be upset when those things happen.»

Fans eagerly wait to see what Dubas does to turn things around for the Pens. More to come.
