The diamond in the rough in the Pittsburgh Penguins' disastrous season has got to be their captain Sidney Crosby. Former NHLer Colby Armstrong gave high praise for the Penguins captain.

Another day, another few words of respect from someone regarding the play and professionalism of Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby.
Colby Armstrong spread some strong words for number 87 of the Penguins.
Crosby is the greatest player of his generation and even still there are no days off for him.
Sid is on quest for an amazing season and may be one of the best season's for a 37 year old in NHL history. The captain is showing no signs of slowing down in Pittsburgh with 33 goals and 35 assists making up for 68 points in 67 games this season. He has truly been remarkable and he may find himself in the 40 goal club for the first time since the 2018-19 NHL season.
Crosby is showing no signs of age as he has been the backbone of this struggling Penguins team and is still showing signs of dominance on the ice. He has truly been a generational talent that we may never see again for a long while.
