In a must-win game against the Dallas Stars, Tristan Jarry was given the start. After giving up 4 goals, Mike Sullivan pulled him from the game.

Early yesterday, after the team's morning skate, Head Coach Mike Sullivan announced that Tristan Jarry would get the start.

In a must-win game (they all are at this point) against a very strong opponent, some fans felt that this was the wrong choice by Sully.

Also former Boston College player and team USA member Jack St. Ivany finally made his NHL debut!

Despite inconsistent play as of late, Mike Sullivan has been rolling with Tristan Jarry pretty consistently. This isn't the first time Jarry has been pulled lately.

After the 4th goal was scored by Dallas in the third period, Jarry was replaced by Ned.

The Penguins found some life after Jarry was pulled after Rakell scored to make the game 4-2. However that would be all that came from the late boost of energy.

Looking forward, the Penguins play Mckinnon and the Avs tomorrow night and I'm curious who gets the start in net.

Obviously Jarry is the starter, however based on his recent play I wouldn't be surprised if Ned got the start on Sunday night.

After last nights loss, the Penguins playoff chances are all but finished and I think it would be a nice opportunity for management to bring up some young guys to get some reps at the NHL level.

However, it's unlikely we see that.
