The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned goaltender Joel Blomqvist to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton today.

With the illnesses that the Penguins team have been facing, it appears that with the off day, Tristian Jarry may be healthy enough to play.

Blomqvist has played in 40 games this year with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He has 22 wins, with a 2.15 GAA and a .919 save percentage.

The Penguins look to capitalize on their win streak when they take on the Capitals Thursday night in Washington DC.
