After the Penguins last game against Columbus, Sidney Crosby further cemented his legacy by moving up in the all-time scoring list.

Crosby Increases his Position on the All-Time NHL Points List

Although the Penguins season has been far from sunshine and rainbows, Sidney Crosby has done everything in his power to drag Pittsburgh into the playoffs.

It seems like all season long we have been reporting remarkable individual achievements that Sid has accomplished this season, and in the last meeting against the Blue Jackets he added another.

With his two assist performance on Thursday, Crosby tied and surpassed Ray Bourque for 11th in the all time NHL scoring list.

Crosby now sits with 1580 total points and is closing in on 10th all-time.

With ten more points, Crosby will pass Phil Esposito for 10th on the all-time scoring list. This is a feat that he could reasonably achieve this season, do you think he gets it?

As for other individual achievements, Crosby is closing in on 1000 assists, as well as threatening Wayne Gretzky's record of 19 seasons at over a point/per game.

As mentioned, the Penguins season has been rather disappointing, however Penguins fans can still enjoy Sidney Crosby's fantastic season.
