The Pittsburgh Penguins have entered into this Sunday afternoon in a playoff spot thanks to their insane run over their last two weeks. The consensus answer here is their roster shakeups made by GM Kyle Dubas.

Despite the inevitable heartbreak that was caused on March 7th when the Pittsburgh Penguins dealt longtime star Jake Guentzel to the Carolina Hurricanes, some may argue this can end up being Kyle Dubas' best move since his tenure.

As of right now the Pittsburgh Penguins sit in the final wildcard spot with 83 points, shall they make the playoffs without Jake Guentzel, it would mean that they have acquired future prospects and picks while also seeing themselves in the post-season.

Michael Bunting sparks life back to Pittsburgh

Their newly acquired forward and Kyle Dubas' prodigy Michael Bunting, made the PPG Arena rock last night after scoring the game winner versus the Tampa Bay Lightning. Bunting has 13 points in his first 16 games as a Pittsburgh Penguin, safe to say he has found himself a home here in Pittsburgh.

The most probable opponents for the Penguins will be the New York Rangers or the Boston Bruins. We may also see them face off against former Penguin Jake Guentzel and the Carolina Hurricanes.

It is unclear whether or not the Pittsburgh Penguins will most defintely make the playoffs, but it is safe to say that their fire has brought life back to the city of Pittsburgh.
