Evgeni Malkin shares a touching moment with his parents

Evgeni Malkin will go down as a Pittsburgh legend, but even those who aren't fans of the team had to enjoy his special moment on Saturday.

Evgeni Malkin, like Sidney Crosby has been in Pittsburgh for almost two decades, winning three Stanley Cup's as a team, and they've both become absolute icons for the Penguins. On Saturday, two more Pittsburgh icons took center stage, as the parents of Malkin made another special appearance as they were in tears watching their son tear up the Tampa Bay Lightning with two goals.







Earlier this season, Malkin's parents Natalia and Vladimir made the trip to the United States for the first time since 2018, but given their dedication to watching their son in the early hours of the morning every game, they've become beloved by Penguins fans everywhere.

With the win, the Penguins now find themselves in a playoff spot, with a fantastic chance of making an unlikely run in 2023-24, and with the emotion all of Malkin and his parents faces, this team is showing that they are built to make a push now behind two NHL icons.
