It seems like Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic may have tweaked something with an apparent injury in their game versus the Colorado Avalanche.

During the tightly contested matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Alex nedeljkovic has been taken out of the game due to an injury and goaltender Tristan Jarry has taken his spot.

Alex Nedeljkovic gets hurt versus the Avalanche

Going into tonight's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the red hot Colorado Avalanche, coach Mike Sullivan gave Alex Nedeljkovic the nod in confidence. The game is currently 4-3 in favour of the Penguins, thanks to Captain Sidney Crosby's masterclass, with his 40th 4 point game in his NHL career! Nedeljkovic left the game early into the third period and it appears Tristan Jarry is now taking over for the remainder of the game.

Tristan Jarry is now in net for the Penguins as Alex Nedeljkovic heads down the runway.

It was a 4-0 lead for the deflated Penguins team against Nathan Mackinnon and the powerhouse Avs, but suddenly it is now a one goal game as the Avalanche crawl back with three unanswered goals. We can only hope the Penguins walk away with this one.
