After battling through the roughest stretch of his career, it appears that Mike Sullivan and Kyle Dubas remain faithful in Tristan Jarry's ability.

As all of you are well aware, Tristan Jarry lost the starter job for the final and most crucial part of the season. This left many people that follow the team thinking that he may not be the goalie of the future. However, during their end of season media availability the Penguins staff remains faithful in Jarry. GM Kyle Dubas had this to say about Jarry.

«I think the easy thing to say now is, of course — and I don't begrudge it — is, ‘What does that say about Tristan?' When you close it and look at the whole year, I think (Jarry) would be the first to tell you he wanted to be better and has to be better,» Dubas said.

In defense of Jarry, he was stricken with some kind of illness prior to Ned taking over for 13 straight starts.

Performance aside, it looks like the Penguins will be rolling with Jarry for the time being. This is likely due to the large contract that he signed in the off-season (five-year, $26.875 million).
