Jesse Puljujarvi set to represent his national team

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jesse Puljujarvi has been invited to Finland's A national team roster for the upcoming Euro Hockey Tour (EHT) tournament in Czechia in May. A complete turnaround for the forward after it was deemed about a year ago that there was no interest for the finnish player in the NHL or in hockey anymore after numerous botched stincts.

The explaination of the tournament is the following:


It is a chance for the players in this tournament to be selected for the World Hockey Championships that will occur in the end of May. This Euro Hockey Tour will take place in a few days, beginning in the early month of May.


After many surgical operations, Jesse Puljujarvi turned his career around after finding a contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins organization where he did seemingly well given the circumstances and lengthy rehabilitation. Now, the former fourth overall draft pick has the chance to represent his country at the international stage.
