The NHL has released the results from their recent player poll, and unsurprisingly, Sidney Crosby still has the respect of all his peers.

Sidney Crosby has arguably been the best player in the NHL for the better part of the past two decades, and while many believe he's been overtaken by the likes of Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid and others, he remains respected by the entire league.

The NHL once again conducted their annual NHL player poll, and while some results were surprising, this one was absolutely not, as Crosby took home a whopping 38% of the votes for the Most Complete Player in the NHL category.

Sidney Crosby continues to be recognized as the most well-rounded player on the ice – the @Penguins captain has won or tied atop the #NHLPAPlayerPoll most complete player category for five straight seasons!

This marks the fifth straight year that No. 87 has taken home this honour, and with an incredible career still rolling on, he continues to climb the list of all-time greats. With 40 goals and 86 points in 78 games played this season, Crosby is still excelling at the age of 36 as he looks to push the Penguins back into a playoff spot, and with fantastic play on both ends of the ice, it's safe to say that this was well deserved.
