The wait is finally over, the Pittsburgh Penguins have finally traded pending UFA and star forward Jake Guentzel in a blockbuster deal with a Stanley cup contender.

Jake Guentzel has been traded to the Hurricanes



Jake Guentzel has been traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in a blockbuster deal according to insider.

Guentzel, has been on LTIR for the last two weeks and can't be activated off it until March 10th. The forward has 52 points in 50 game so far this season, and will be a deadly acquisition for the Metropolitan powerhouse

The UFA forward has rejected two contract offers from the Penguins management, showing all signs of wanting to be traded.
