Penguins Giving Recalled Forward a Huge Chance

The Pittsburgh Penguins called up forward Colin White last week due to the injuries affecting the squad such as Reilly Smith. After a disasterous stretch on their western trip, one good thing came out of it, and that is the resurgence of Colin White.

It was announced today that a huge top 6 shakeup happend. Coach Sullivan placed Colin White in their top 6, more specifically on their second line with star forward Evgeni Malkin and Drew O'Connor. Although this line doesn't sound very intimidating, there's room for potential, and Mike Sullivan gave praise to Colin White. Coach Sullivan commented:

A Colin White full of confidence has a chance to rejuvenate the Penguins chances at the playoffs. By adding him he can potentially score big and provide defensive plays on that line to allow Malkin to do what he does best: creating offense.
