The Pittsburgh Penguins somewhat disappointing start and string of injuries has forced the team's management to make roster moves.

After a tough overtime loss against the Predators, the Penguins practiced in Nashville before flying to Tampa to face the Lightning on Thursday.


At the practice, we got an update of the injuries as well as the lines.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph was wearing a regular jersey:

"The Penguins are practicing in Nashville before flying to Tampa.

P.O Joseph, who has missed the last 11 games with a nagging lower-body injury, is skating with his teammates wearing a regular jersey."


They're keeping the same lineup:

"The Penguins are sticking with the workflow they used last night against the Predators:

Guentzel-Crosby-Rust
Smith-Malkin-O'Connor
Harkins-Eller-Zohorna
Nieto-Acciari-Carter
Graves-Letang
Pettersson-Karlsson
Shea-Ludvig
Joseph and Samorukov are skating as an extra pair."


Additionally, forward Alex Nylander was sent back to the AHL:

"The Penguins have re-assigned forward Alex Nylander to the
@WBSPenguins."
