Tonight tensions reached an all-time high when Penguins' forward John Ludvig decided to drop the gloves against a Nashville Predators tough guy.

John Ludvig is known for being a physical presence on the ice for the Penguins. This in part is how he earned his roster spot this season. Now he is proving his worth with a heavyweight fight against another proven tough guy Michael McCaron.





The fight began after a big hit by Ludvig on Predators defenseman Dante Fabbro.



The Predators currently lead the Penguins midway through the second period. Despite trailing the Penguins have gotten the better volume of changes with 22 shots to Nashville's 13.
