BREAKING: John Tortorella Ejected After Throwing Temper Tantrum On The Bench

John Tortorella is perhaps the most passionate coach to ever be behind an NHL bench. There are benefits to that passion, but tonight it got him into serious trouble.

Tortorella Ejected After Making A Scene On Flyers Bench

The Flyers are playing the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight. Things quickly escalated as the team gave up four quick goals to begin the game. The breakdown was bad enough that John Tortorella lost his mind at the referees, complaining about calls against his team.




The outburst was bad enough that the officials gave the Flyers an extra penalty for abuse of officials before he finally left the bench to return to the team's locker room.


At first he refused to leave the bench after being ejected. He can be seen yelling "I'm not!" at one of the officials as they were presumably asking him to leave the bench.
