Despite high hopes when he was traded from the Minnesota Wild in 2020, the Penguins fell short in the playoffs for three consecutive seasons. Even a strong performance by Zucker in the 2022-23 campaign couldn't save the day, and the Penguins missed the playoffs altogether.

When it came time for Zucker to re-sign with the Penguins potentially, things took an unexpected turn.




Instead, Zucker signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Coyotes, citing limited options due to the pandemic's economic impact. Despite facing challenges, Zucker has found his game with the Nashville Predators, contributing to their run for a maiden Stanley Cup.
