Jakub Vrana's reaction to being placed on waivers got everyone surprised. When the news was made public, he deleted all Red Wings related content from his Instagram page. This got people talking and induced rumors about something fishy going on between Detroit and Vrana.
However, we now know the real reason why Vrana was placed on waivers. Insider Chris Johnston shared that Tyler Bertuzzi and Robby Fabbri's return cause the Red Wings to be over the salary cap. They just can't keep them all in the team.
