Stats : Malkin extends his point streak to eight games

Evgeni Malkin just assisted Rickard Rakell on a power play goal, resulting in Malkin taking his streak to 8 games in a row with at least 1 point. He scored 2 goals and assisted 10 in the past 8 games. Even though we feared an injury following Thursday night's incident, it seems like Malkin is still going harder than ever!

The only players with longer active streaks are Zuccarello with 10 and McDavid with 12, after Mitch Marner's impressive 23 point streak got to an end in Thursday's loss against the New York Rangers.
