Penguins to host a professional women's hockey game next month.
The Pens will host a regular season game in the National Women's Hockey League, opposing the Connecticut Whale and the Montreal Force on January 14. According to Whale general manager Alexis Moed, it is another great opportunity to showcase the growth and strength of our league to a new market. The Connecticut team will wear special jerseys based on the city's first women team, that began in 1972.
This will be the second women hockey game the Pens are hosting this year!
