Former 4th overall pick harshly criticized after diving during Junior World Championship game

If you follow hockey a bit, you obviously are familiar with Shane Wright. He has drawn a lot of attention last year before being drafted fourth by the Seattle Kraken. He is currently the captain of Team Canada in the Junior World Championship.

Wright made a bad move on Monday night as Canada was playing Slovakia, and he got absolutely roasted on social medias.


Many hockey fans did not approve that dive and everyone Is making fun of him. There is a positive side to this though: at least he didn't make this mistake during an NHL game, because I'm pretty sure he would've gotten exposed 10 times more brutally.


Wright only played 8 games this season with the Kraken and is good for 2 points so far.
