Ty Smith could very much be the next defensive pillar for the Pens
Ty Smith recently got recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) following all the injuries that have happened among the Penguins. He's been doing well and everyone sees a lot of potential in him, including Sully:
He only played two games so far with the Pens and doesn't have any points just yet. But he's been putting out some great plays and he's unarguably very talented. He's been getting numbers with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton though. In 26 games, he scored four times and has ten assists. It's great to see a promising defenseman with the Penguins, let's hope he'll deliver up to the expectations!
