Reports emerge on the future of Mike Sullivan and Penguins' coaches

Today several reports have emerged that have caused chaos in the Pittsburgh Penguins conversation. The future of head coach Mike Sullivan and his staff has been called into question due to several reports.

Earlier today NHL insider Kevin Weekes put out a cryptic post on X referencing the city of Pittsburgh.



This post caused chaos and rumors to swirl regarding the future of the Pittsburgh Penguins coaching staff. After hours of rumors floating around Penguins reporter Rob Rossi wrote a story clearing some things up. Apparently there had been reports that the New Jersey Devils wanted to speak to Mike Sullivan about their open head coaching position.





Despite not permitting other teams to interview their head coach the future of the staff remains in limbo. According to trusted insider Frank Seravalli the Pittsburgh Penguins have been discussing changes to their staff when it comes to assistant coaches. This created a buzz around the league that Mike Sullivan might be available.




It remains to be seen what final decisions the Pittsburgh Penguins will make regarding the future of their staff. For now it seems as though at the end of the day Mike Sullivan will once again be returning and given yet another opportunity to get things back on track.
