Mike Sullivan Provides Injury Update for Penguins Star

The Pittsburgh Penguins are expected to bring in Jake Guentzel to tag along for their western conference road trip which begins on Tuesday in Vancouver and only ends on March 4th, 4 days before the NHL Trade deadline.

Important to mention that Jake Guentzel can't come off of LTIR until March 10th. Mike Sullivan refused to provide any more info regarding his status.

Sullivan gives slight update on Guentzel

An interesting quote out there from his conference is this:
That probably has to do with his trade status, and not wanting to say any words that may scare potential buyers ahead of the trade deadline.

This statement most definitely signifies that a potential Jake Guentzel trade is well underway.
