Insider Reveals New Potential Trade Partner For Penguins and Jake Guentzel

The Pittsburgh Penguins hosted a media conference yesterday afternoon at 2pm, when Kyle Dubas initiated the teams plans ahead of the deadline and their future and Dubas made it clear that the possibility of trading Jake Guentzel is very real as the pending UFA has already rejected two offers.

Guentzel has been linked to the Oilers and Avalanche over the last few weeks as they set their plans on bolstering their teams attack, but a new team has emerged as per insider Frank Seravalli.

In the recent tweet by Frank Seravalli from the Daily Faceoff, Frank brought up the idea of Vegas pursuing Pens forward Jake Guentzel.




With Vegas captain Mark Stone being out with an injury, they clear 8M off salary and Jack Eichel hitting LTIR it makes amazing sense for Vegas.


Guentzel is obviously having a career year with 50 points this season so far, but is currently out with injury and the Penguins are very far away from a potential playoff spot, leaving them with probably no choice to move the pending UFA
