Penguins Announce that Two Veteran Forwards are Injured
Ahead of the Saturday's game against the Flyers, the Penguins released a statement that Noel Acciari and Matthew Nieto would both miss time and are being evaluated for lower body injuries.Off-season Acquisitions by Kyle Dubas
Both Nieto and Acciari were signed in the off-season by Kyle Dubas. They were both signed to 1 year deals after they were UFAs.
So far Acciari has 3 points through 22 games. Neito has 4 points through 22 games.
We hope the injury diagnosis isn't serious and they will return to the lineup soon!
