Guentzel Speaks to Media About Penguins Recent Play
Penguins Lose Hard Fought Game Against Biggest Rivals
The Penguins faced their biggest rival the Flyers last night and and ended up losing a heartbreaker 4-3 in a shootout. While the Penguins played well through the majority of the game, they started very slow (as has been the theme this year) and weren't able to dig themselves out. Jake Guentzel looked fantastic as he scored two goals including a beauty to send the game to OT with 26 seconds left.Following the game on Saturday, Guentzel shared his thoughts with the media.
The Struggling Powerplay has Seriously Harmed the Penguins
The Pens currently sit at 11-10-2, good enough for 6th in the Metropolitan division. As Guentzel pointed out, the Pens have been unable to put a complete game together as of late.
However, the biggest storyline has been the struggling power play which has been struggling for the past month. Hopefully Sully can make a few changes and get this PP going, because the playoffs look far away if they can't score on the man advantage.
More to come.
