It was reported that if Jake Guentzel were to refuse to sign a team friendly deal with the Penguins , he will be traded with no hesitation by GM Kyle Dubas. And after seeing the haul Calgary got for Elias Lindholm, it would not be a bad thing for Kyle Dubas, not having any doubts.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are willing to trade F Jake Guentzel if he isn't going to accept a team-friendly contract extension. Per, The Athletic's Josh Yohe
The tight capped Penguins would need Guentzel to be a team player, but it's hard to believe he will be. It's going to be a test to see how much Jake Guentzel loves Pittsburgh, as if he hits the market he can see himself making North of 10M a year.
