GM Ron Hextall could be interested in two players from the Canucks, who have been involved in many discussions about transactions and rumors.

First, current captain Bo Horvat figures on the list as he's one of the best players on the market right now. He has 39 points in 35 games, in other words, he knows how to be impactful. Obviously, Horvat would not be cheap and the Pens would need to move things around to make a big contract fit in the cap. Him being only 27-year-old, he would be interesting as the Pens need some younger talent. He's like the perfect balance between a young player with potential and a true leader. Second on the list is Brock Boeser, who's been talked about in trade discussions a lot. The 25-year-old forward has 20 points in 27 games this season, which is not bad at all. Him being talented is of course a factor that would make the price go up, but as many say, the Penguins are in need of young talents right now, and a player like Boeser could be the solution.
