Penguins fan poll reveals who's the favorite, the most disappointing, who's likely to get traded, etc. The results will shock you...

PHN just released the results of their Penguins fan poll, to which approximately a thousand fans submitted their picks for various categories, such as their favorite player, the most disappointing one, and many more.

First, since everyone's MVP is Crosby, they asked who's second. Shockingly, it is not Malkin, and by far! Out of 967 voters, 626 picked Jarry as their second MVP, which is approximately 65% of the votes, followed by Malkin with 21%. Tanger and Pettersson came in third and fourth as they both landed about 7% of the votes, with Kris having four votes more than Marcus.

P.O Joseph was voted the most surprising player with 34% of the votes. It was tight between him and Pettersson, as he got 30% of the votes, followed by Zucker and Archibald.

Now the crunchy part : Which player has been the most disappointing?


Well, this one was really tight, as Kapanen and Dumoulin came in with a tiny seven votes difference. Kappy still got the first place with 35% while Dumo got 34%. Good thing is that they both figure among the players that are most likely to have a turnaround, so fans still have faith in those two!

Still according to the fans, Kapanen is by far the most likely to get traded. The fanbase's favorite new player is Rickard Rakell with 75% of the votes! Lastly, 23% of the fans believe the Stanley Cup is ours this season, while 53% are more conservative, defending the idea the season will end at the second round or in Eastern Conference Final!
