NHL expansion discussion: three cities put forward this week
The Vegas Golden Knights and the Seattle Kraken have both been success stories when it comes to boosting revenues. The NHL held a meeting to discuss various topics about the league. Sportsnet's journalist Elliotte Friedman gave us some insight about three cities that have been named for a possible 33rd franchise.
Many have complained about these choices, criticizing the cities named saying they are not the best fit and certainly not places where the hockey culture is strong. However, Marek is not so sure Toronto could get a second team.
