Malkin reveals his pre-game routine!
Evgeni Malkin admitted today he is superstitious. Geno reveals what his pre-game routine is. Since Dec. 3 he uses white tape with black vertical stripes.
"It looks cool. I don't know, I feel better," he said. "My blade, it's like stiffer. I feel like I can shoot harder."
Evgeni has another ritual: before every game, assistant coach Ty Hennes gets him some popcorn!
"He just needs a little bit. What he does with it, I have no idea," Hennes said with a laugh. "But it's just my job to make sure the popcorn is there."
