In what seemed like a obvious victory for the Penguins as they were up 3-1 versus the Calgary Flames after two periods, the Penguins did the unthinkable and blew the lead, all in regulation.

During the game, Kris Letang performed a brutal turnover, giving the Flames the momentum in what seemed like a mistake that will cost them dearly moving forward. Letang spoke to the media and shared his thoughts.

Letang takes blame for loss

During his media presser, you witness a discouraged Kris Letang who is clearly devastated about the loss in which was a very important game for the struggling Penguins.

Kris Letang said what happened in the third started with him. "I made a mistake on 1-on-1, should not let that happen, and it gave them momentum.»

On Calgary's game-winning goal, Kris Letang said, "I just got the puck and somebody was jumping me. I think they were getting a 5-on-4, so I didn't see the pass."

The Pittsburgh Penguins look to bounce back and try to spark just a bit of momentum for the already discouraged roster and organization as they brace themselves for a busy week, especially at the top of management.
