Pittsburgh Penguins recognize Erik Karlsson for playing game #1000

Prior to the Penguins matchup with the Boston Bruins, the team honored Erik Karlsson for his major milestone of reaching his 1000th NHL game.

As many of you already know, Erik Karlsson skated in his 1000th NHL game tonight, and the Penguins organization has a very nice celebration for him
before the game.

A tribute video, being presented with a silver stick and everyone wearing #65 for warmups are just a few of the festivities for Karlsson.











Aside from the heartwarming ceremony that was shared with Karlsson and his family pre-game, the players also came together to give EK65 a nice gift - what looks like a new Rolex.


Congrats to Erik on the milestone, and here's to many more games (and Penguins wins).
