Former Pittsburgh Penguins top forward Jake Guentzel continues to show his dominance with his new team, the Carolina Hurricanes.

Guentzel has shown that he doesn't need to be on Sidney Crosby's line to produce in the NHL.
The Carolina Hurricanes have been red hot lately, winning eight out of their last ten games. With two goals and ten assists, he played a valuable role in the team's recent success.

Guentzel prepares for emotional return to Pittsburgh on Tuesday night
Guentzel is set to return to the PPG Paints Arena tomorrow, where he played for eight seasons.
The former Penguins' player, Guentzel, shared his thoughts about returning to Pittsburgh for the first time since he got traded by Kyle Dubas to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Here's what he had to say:
"It's obviously really exciting. Family is still there so I'll get to see them tonight. It'll be nice to see some of the guys. But it's just going to be a fun game and hopefully get the two points."
It promises to be an exciting night for both fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Carolina Hurricanes.
