We're in the month of February and you can officially say it is time to hit the panic button in Pittsburgh. The Penguins are currently on a two game losing streak and are 3-7 in their last 10 games and are 7 points out of a playoff spot. You can argue that it was time to panic when they were on that 4 game losing streak back in December but with their recent play we can officially declare chaos.

Dubas has settled in by now, so it's time to act

It's hard to put a finger on what needs to be done to get better results for the Penguins. Do they need a coaching change? Do they need to add scoring depth? There's so many unanswered questions which may indicate that this team is just not near the compete level it was expected to be. With pending UFA Jake Guentzel without a deal, they are very close to being in the sellers spot which can indicate a full blown retool in Pittsburgh.

Desperate times are looming and the Penguins must act quick or else they will not only see themselves fall out this year, but the seasons moving forward.
