Crosby Passes Another Major Career Milestone on Historic Night

In what was a historic night for Marc Andre Fleury, who celebrated his 1000 game milestone and passing Patrick Roy for most wins of all time in goalies who only trails Martin Brodeur, Fleury was honoured in front of his former team the Pittsburgh Penguins. Before the game, Pens captain Sidney Crosby presented Fleury with a special gift to remember the road to 1000 games for Flower. Fleury wasn't the only one with a special achievement as number 87 of the Penguins passed an NHL legend in a historic stat.

Crosby passes Mark Recchi on all time scoring list

In a full circle moment, Sidney Crosby scored the equalizer to make it 2-2 between the Wild and Penguins where Sid scored on former teammate Marc Andre Fleury and went on to pass former teammate Mark Recchi on the NHL All time scoring list in an absolute beautiful moment.




Crosby's season this year needs to garner more respect as he is putting up career numbers in goals. With 28 goals and 24 assists in 48 games, Crosby is on pace for 53 goals, which would be the most goals he ever scored in his highly decorated career. He only had one 50 goal season in his career which was in the 2009-10 season which dates back 14 years! Incredible year for the Penguins captain.
