Crosby Addresses Media Ahead of Crucial Week

The Pittsburgh Penguins are bracing themselves for a crucial week of games. They are currently 3-7 in their last ten and dropped two out of two games played this weekend vs the Winnipeg Jets and the Minnesota Wild during their central road trip. They now have returned home and are going to profit from a nice two day break before they face the Florida Panthers on Wednesday at the PPG Arena. Sidney Crosby met with the media today.

The Penguins are in desperation mode. With a month left until the trade deadline and them struggling to get in the playoffs, they have to act quick or else a fire sale may be loading, something GM Kyle Dubas isn't afraid to do.


The Penguins have 3 games this week versus the Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks and the LA Kings, a set of games where 2/3 of them need to be won to even have a chance at postseason hockey.
