The Pittsburgh Penguins have placed a forward on waivers just ahead of the trade deadline hinting at a potential move.

Penguins Place Phillips On Waivers



Today's waiver placements were just announced and they include Penguins forward Matt Phillips.

Phillips was claimed by Pittsburgh earlier this season and will now have to go through the waiver process again.
