Penguins Recall Talented Forward from AHL
Roster Move made by Dubas on Sunday
The team announced on Sunday that they would be placing forward Matthew Nieto on the injured reserve. Subsequently they have called up forward Alex Nylander, who has already spent time with the team this season.Alex Nylander's Season So Far
In 2023/2024 Nylander has played a total of three games with the Penguins, he is yet to register a point. However, he has looked sharp at the AHL level, scoring 10 points (5 goals and 5 assists) through 14 games with Wilkes-Barre.
I hope Nylander can find some success in this stint with the team, many fans are calling for the Penguins to call up some younger talent to shake things and Nylander appears to be just that.
