PK Subban Makes a Shocking Statement Involving Sidney Crosby

Game recognizes game, and that's what happened tonight when former Norris Trophy Winner PK subban gave high praise to Sid the Kid on the ESPN panel.

Just how good has Sid the Kid been?

Sidney Crosby has 46 points in 42 games so far this season, 26 of them are goals. He is on pace for 52 goals this season, keep in mind Crosby only hit the 50 goal plateau once in his highly decorated NHL career. At 36 years old, he's leading the NHL at the dot, playing all special teams like power play and the penalty kill, and has been the spark the Penguins needed this season.

Is Subban's statement correct?

PK Subban dropped a bold comment calling him still the «best player in the world» and although it sounds like a reach in hindsight, it really isn't. Crosby has matched the analytical test as much as the eye test, he's 6th in league goal scoring and 17th in the NHL for points, these numbers don't mean everything. Despite being in the «average» for production based on star players, his work doesn't go unnoticed and he's been having a huge impact on the Penguins two way game. Subban is not in a ridiculous position to say that.
